SPC Nichole M. Frye

A Wisconsin native, Specialist Nichole M. Frye was killed on 16 February 2004 by an improvised explosive device near Baqubah, Iraq.

Frye enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2002 as a Civil Affairs Trainee. Following graduation from the Civil Affairs Specialist Course, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, she joined the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion, Green Bay, Wisconsin, prior to being mobilized.

SPC Frye was a Civil Affairs Specialist in 415th Civil Affairs Battalion, Kalamazoo, Michigan, supporting Operation IRAQI FREEDOM at the time of her death.
