CPL George A. Lutz II

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Corporal George A. Lutz II died 29 December 2005, as a result of wounds sustained from small arms fire when his dismounted patrol was attacked by enemy forces in Fallujah, Iraq.

Lutz enlisted in the Army as a Psychological Operations Specialist and graduated from the Psychological Operations Specialist Course in 2004.

CPL Lutz was assigned as a Psychological Operations Specialist in 9th Psychological Operations Battalion, 4th Psychological Operations Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and was deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM at the time of his death.
