SPC Brandon D. Gordon

A native of Naples, Florida, Specialist Brandon D. Gordon died on 18 February 2007 in southeastern Afghanistan while supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

In 2003, Gordon joined the Army as a Heavy Lift Helicopter Repair Specialist. He served in the 52nd Aviation Regiment, Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea. He completed Green Platoon in 2005.

SPC Gordon was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, when his MH-47 Chinook crashed during combat operations.
