SGT Charles B. Kitowski III

A resident of Farmers Branch, Texas, Sergeant Charles B. Kitowski III died on 12 August 2007 in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Kitowski enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2005 as a Psychological Operations Specialist. He completed his Advanced Individual Training at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

SGT Kitowski was assigned to the 345th Psychological Operations Company, Dallas, Texas, when he sustained fatal wounds from an improvised explosive device.
