PFC Kristofer D. S. Thomas

A native of Roseville, California, Private First Class Kristofer D. S. Thomas died on 18 February 2007 in southeastern Afghanistan while supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

In 2006, Thomas enlisted in the Army as an Infantryman and completed Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training, and the Basic Airborne Course at Fort Benning, Georgia.

PFC Thomas was assigned as a rifleman in 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia, when the MH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding crashed.
