CPL Nicholas R. Roush

A native of Michigan, Corporal Nicholas R. Roush was killed on 16 August 2009 in Herat Province, Afghanistan, from wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.

Roush enlisted in the Army in 2007. After graduating from the Psychological Operations Specialist Course he was assigned to 1st Psychological Operations Battalion, 4th Psychological Operations Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

CPL Roush was on his first deployment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM when he was killed.
